About: Anna Barden is a content writer for All About Vision. She got her first pair of glasses in sixth grade, some cool Ocean Pacific frames that — in true early 2000s fashion — were dark and rectangular.
Although she normally wears contacts, Anna is also a big fan of quirky frames. You can find many pink, floral and even oversized prescription clown glasses in her optical collection.
Anna is a native Texan and has a hefty appetite for barbecue and Tex-Mex to prove it (specifically chips and queso). She holds a bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communications from the University of North Texas and an associate’s degree in Liberal Arts from Collin College.
When she’s not researching eye conditions, Anna enjoys cooking, living a gluten-free lifestyle, shopping for vintage items and even performing a bit of stand-up comedy.
