About: Hallie Koontz is a freelance writer and editor for a variety of magazines, trade publications and medical journals (dental journals in particular). She holds a degree in English & Creative Writing from Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa, and also co-runs a flash fiction contest.
When she was young, the only way to get eye drops in Hallie’s eyes was to hold her down and/or bribe her with a Friday night movie rental. Both of these things are still true today.
When she’s not writing for All About Vision, you can find Hallie reading mystery novels, playing video games, or looking for her glasses, which she misplaces constantly.
